Sub Chase

Sub Chase is a variant of the arcade game Depthcharge. The player is in control of a destroyer that can be moved left and right along surface of the ocean. Beneath, submarines will appear at different depths on the left and traverse the screen. The aim of the game is to destroy a set number of submarines by dropping depth charges. This is done by pressing the keys 1 to 9 where the number represents the depth where the charge will explode. It is possible to drop up to four depth charges at a time but the number of charges available is limited. Submarines shoot missiles which have to be avoided since the destroyer will be destroyed if hit. It's also necessary to avoid backing into one's own charges.
