Overview
Casanova, released by Williams Electronic Games in November 1966, is a notable electro-mechanical (EM) game featuring a unique "bagatelle" in its backglass. At the end of every ball, a captive ball is shot into a mini-plinko (bagatelle) game within the backglass to award a bonus score ranging from 100 to 500 points.
Designed by the legendary Steve Kordek, it features iconic artwork by French artist Christian Marche. The machine uses a historical Venice-inspired theme, centering on Giacomo Casanova, depicted through imagery of gondolas and Italian Renaissance dress. Williams produced 3,575 units of this model.
