Os Doze Trabalhos de Jongo

Overview

Os doze trabalhos de Jongo (lit. Jongo's twelve tasks, often called as Os 12 trabalhos de Jongo) is a puzzle game, developed and published by Tec Toy, only in Brazil. It was released as a built-in game on several Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive models released in the country.

The game is an adaptation of Soukoban (although it is an unlicensed work either by its original creator Hiroyuki Imayabashi and Falcon, the rights holder of Thinking Rabbit IPs), where Jongo, controlled by the player, must drive the flower pots (originally, wooden craters) into their respective spots (the game defines them as "sacred spots"). Some of the maze layouts are featured in the SG-1000 version of Soukoban and Shove It!, so, their respective strategies should apply to Os doze trabalhos de Jongo as well. However, unlike Shove It!, there's no way to back-up a single move. The player has three tries to finish all the 12 mazes and also has an option to play with or without time limit.
