Overview
Air Troubles: Search for the Hero of Mount Mistake is a competitive two-player aerial combat game played on a single static screen. Each player flies a small propeller aircraft and uses separate controls for accelerating, braking, climbing, and descending. Planes cannot freely rotate; instead, movement is governed by thrust and vertical adjustment.
Before each match, players choose one of several secondary weapons in addition to the standard forward-firing cannon. A round ends when one aircraft is shot down or crashes into the terrain. The overall match is awarded to the first player to win five rounds. The game contains no single-player mode.
