Animated Words

Animated Words is an educational program that introduces young children to spelling and basic word recognition. It presents simple words alongside pictures to help associate written words with their meanings.

The program shows a word and an on-screen picture that represents it. The player selects or matches the correct word to its picture using the interface. When the match is correct, the game adds a piece to an on-screen puzzle; after several correct matches, the puzzle completes and plays a short animation before moving on to the next set of words
