Overview
Arcanoid is a 3D take on Breakout, the difference being that the action is shown in 3D instead of a flat screen. The player moves the paddle along the front plane of the tunnel, both horizontally and vertically, and uses it to keep a ball in play. The ball travels into the tunnel, bouncing off walls and blocks. When the ball hits a block, the block takes damage and may break after one or more hits. Clearing all blocks completes the level.
As levels progress, block layouts become more complex and may require careful positioning of the paddle to control the ball’s path. The game tracks score, level progression, and remaining balls as play continues.
