Overview
ARK… is a Breakout-style arcade game for MS-DOS. The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen and uses it to keep a ball in play as it bounces around the playfield, striking blocks arranged above. The goal is to clear all the breakable blocks on each level.
The player moves a paddle horizontally along the bottom of the screen to rebound a ball into a formation of blocks above. When the ball hits a breakable block, that block disappears and the player earns points. Some blocks require more than one hit before they are removed, and other blocks cannot be broken at all. Each level also includes a special item that appears when hit; collecting the item awards bonus points, and it reappears in a different location shortly afterward.
There are 33 selectable levels; after level 33 is completed, the game cycles back to the first level.
