Overview
Arka is a simple paddle-and-ball game done by a french demo group as an exercise. The screen shows rows of blocks at the top and a paddle at the bottom. The player’s goal is to clear the screen by breaking all blocks with a bouncing ball.
The player moves a paddle left and right along the bottom of the screen to keep a ball in play. The ball bounces off the paddle, the walls, and the blocks above. When the ball hits a block, the block is damaged or destroyed. Most blocks break after one hit, while marked blocks require two hits.
