Around the World

Around the World is a side-scrolling platform game in which players control Wolf, an anthropomorphic wolf hired by a museum to retrieve treasure from four locations around the world. The journey takes Wolf through stages set in places including China, New York, Greece, and a jungle, with the goal of recovering the items and returning them to the museum.

Players guide Wolf through 2D side-view stages, advancing to the end of each level while jumping over hazards and avoiding enemies. Wolf can shoot enemies, and holding the fire button increases the range of the shot. Levels contain optional treasures that add to the score, and cakes that let Wolf survive one enemy hit. Spikes are lethal hazards, though some spikes are revealed to be fake and can hide bonus areas or shortcuts. When Wolf dies, he restarts from the beginning of the level, while defeated enemies and collected treasures remain in their current state.
