Asteroid Pilot

Overview

Asteroid Pilot is a side-view action game centered on physics-based navigation. The player pilots a spacecraft that moves continuously from left to right through a procedurally generated asteroid field. The ship is constantly affected by gravity, causing it to fall unless upward thrust is applied.

The player must carefully balance thrust to maintain altitude while steering through narrow gaps between asteroids. Colliding with an asteroid destroys the ship immediately. Small particles referred to as space dust can interfere with the ship’s handling, temporarily reducing maneuverability until contact with another particle restores normal control. Each play session features asteroid fields of varying density, which determine the overall difficulty of navigation.
