Revenge Of The Alien Bongo Beast in the Criss-Crossy Lines Dimension

Dirk Bronzetorso, a normal if rather tasteless Englishman, discovers an invoice upon his return home. He has forgotten to pay his gas bill, and now has only 24 hours to do so, or the Alien Bongo Beast, head of bill payments (and known from Balldozer) will transport him to the criss-crossy lines dimension, where he must fight millions of baddies. Unfortunately, Dirk is attacked by an axe-wielding aubergine in his fridge, and lacking all his limbs, he doesn't manage to pay the bill on time. Thus begins Dirk's adventures in the criss-crossy lines dimension.

The criss-crossy lines turn out to be the grid backdrop of this omnidirectionally scrolling shoot'em'up in monochrome screen mode. While attacked from all directions, you must destroy eight generator vents to disable the defence systems of the level. Before you can progress to the next one, you must fight a boss. The controls are similar to Bosconian, working in eight directions, but with an additional thrust button as in Asteroids. At your disposal, you have both a gun and missiles.
