Overview
Strategy Games of the World consists of three strategy games, based on traditional board games:
- Nine Men's Morris: Each player has nine pieces, or men, usually coloured black and white. Players try to form 'mills'—three of their own men lined horizontally or vertically—allowing a player to remove an opponent's man from the game. A player wins by reducing the opponent to two men (whereupon they can no longer form mills and thus are unable to win) or by leaving them without a legal move.
- Go-Moku: Also called 5-in-a-row. The winner is the first player to form an unbroken line of five stones of their color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- Mancala: A count & capture game. A turn consists of removing all seeds from a pit, "sowing" the seeds (placing one in each of the following pits in sequence), and capturing based on the state of the board. The game's object is to plant the most seeds in the bank.
All games have a strategy coach to help you make the best moves and become proficient in the game.
