Kung-Fu Dude

Kung-Fu Dude is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

Born to the royal house of Kilachi, as a child it was prophesized that you would initiate the destruction of the dark temple which ruled the land of your birth. You were hidden away in a monastery in the Orient, far away from your native homeland, and trained for 19 years in the ancient secrets of martial arts. With mere months left in your training, you have learned that Princess Trinsim, your prearranged bride, had been kidnapped by the temple.

You have now travelled to New York City, the new location of the dark temple, in your quest to rescue the princess and defeat the dark temple.

The player controls a martial artist who must defeat a number of enemies. The player can only face to the left, and must move to the right defeating enemies as they appear. They can jump, duck, punch, and kick low, medium, high, or back kick. There is limited time for each level, and all enemies must be destroyed to advance to the next stage.
