Ayrton Senna: F1 Racing Legends

The Dreamcast has received a new fan-made hack called “Ayrton Senna – Racing Legends,” based on F1 Racing Championship. Developed over six months by Ricardo Ravi, with support from João Roberto (Fire Studios), the project required extensive custom reverse engineering, as there are no ready-made tools for Dreamcast modding.

The hack adds 6 teams, 12 legendary drivers, and new cars, featuring iconic names from different Formula 1 eras. Only Ayrton Senna’s car received a speed adjustment; all other cars retain the original game balance. Despite technical limitations, the mod introduces new textures, models, and visual enhancements, making it one of the most ambitious Dreamcast hacks to date.
