Fire One

Fire One is a 1-player submarine game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

Played from the view inside the submarine, the player can set the heading, depth, and speed of their vessel. The player can travel via diesel or battery power to determine stealth of their vessel. When near the surface, the player can use their periscope to view 4 directions. The player starts with 10 torpedoes to target enemy vessels, and can use their deck gun when surfaced.

Game play is divided into a 4 x 4 grid consisting of open land and islands. The player receives missions to sink specific vessels. To assist with navigation and locate enemies, the player can view their radar and receive information from local quadrants. When the ship is damaged, the player can effect repairs from the repair menu, allowing for 2 minutes for each repair.
