Amazing Princess Sarah

The King has been kidnapped by a fiendish demon! Only the (Amazing) Princess Sarah has the courage, and the upper body strength, to fight through the 5 demon castles to rescue him.

In Amazing Princess Sarah the player will travel through each of the five castles, completing platforming challenges before facing off against a screen-filling boss at the end of the castle. The castle interiors are broken up with checkpoints, and luckily for Sarah she has an endless supply of lives to spend as she dies repeatedly inside the castles. To defend herself Sarah has a very weak sword attack, but her main method of attack is picking up furniture or defeated enemies and hurling them at her foes. Launched enemy corpses also have additional attack properties, such as bombardiers exploding or archers flinging out a wave of arrows. Enemies defeated in quick succession are worth bonus XP, and Sarah gains HP and attack power she she levels up.

Each time the game is beaten new princesses are unlocked with different gameplay properties, like Vampire Princess Sarah or Drunk Princess Sarah.
