Patrulla Espacial

Overview

The number of games created by the Spanish 5 Union Software Group is very large. Despite the presence of official, but far from complete catalogs and several dozen already found items, disks, even the existence of which was not known, continue to be found. One of them is Patrulla Espacial.

As you know, the hallmark of 5 Union Software Group was not only the release of ultra-budget games in insane quantities, but also malicious self-copying. Patrulla Espacial is just the result of such bad activity. The game is almost a complete clone of the long-found Space Patrol, but still different. If you go to the page of the space shooter Space Patrol, you will read how different this game is from other works of the studio due to its lightness. It seemed strange - the Spaniards made unthinkable in complexity shmaps, and then suddenly they betrayed their traditions. Now everything has fallen into place - we launch Patrulla Espacial and enter into a hardcore struggle for the life of our small spaceship in the endless dark space.

Before us is the same Space Patrol, only many times more complicated. Under our control is a spaceship capable of moving freely in a plane and shooting. Each level has several enemies (from one to fifteen). After destroying everyone, we move on to the next one, and so on many times. However, no. This is a lot in Space Patrol, but in Patrulla Espacial, you won't be able to do that much, unless, of course, you are an expert in the genre. About every five levels, there will be a boss battle. All enemies except them are destroyed with one hit. In the lower left corner, there is a mini-map that shows where to fly to catch up with the enemy ship.

There are no graphical changes, except for the main menu. There are no more enemies and bosses, but now they shoot more accurately, and each hit on our ship takes away a good third of health. If before we were healed every few levels, now we can forget about it. By the way, there is only one life, so the level of difficulty is just off the charts.

Bottom line: if you want something easier, play Space Patrol, and if you want something more difficult, then Patrulla Espacial is what you need. And if you need a good space shooter, look for games from other developers.
