Golden Tee LIVE 2018

Golden Tee LIVE 2018 introduced a major overhaul to the franchise's in-game interface and added a variety of gameplay features, including a new spin type and "time-released" courses.

New Courses:

The 2018 update featured seven courses in total—five new locations available at launch and two "reimagined" classics released throughout the year:

* Royal Dubai (Dubai): The game's first-ever night course.

* Mayfield (Iowa): A battered public course setting.

* Rheinland (Germany): Features castles near the Rhine River.

* Safari Dunes (Africa): A desert-based safari course.

* Calypso Cay (Barbados): A tropical, water-heavy course.

* Rattlesnake Ridge: A fan-favorite from Golden Tee Fore! reimagined for LIVE (released January 2018).

* Mystic Hills: A classic Pennsylvania countryside course (released March 2018).

Major Features & Gameplay Changes:

* "Release" Spin: A fourth spin type that provides a small forward surge upon landing, designed for more controlled approach shots on large greens.

* Updated UI: The interface received a "facelift," adding a height meter to show peak shot height and a surface indicator in the bottom right to clarify exactly what surface the ball is sitting on (e.g., fringe vs. green).

Monday Mixup: A weekly event where a standard course is scrambled—holes might be played in reverse order (Hole 18 to Hole 1) or grouped by type (all par-3s together).

Expanded Customization:

* Build-a-Ball: Over 30 different tracers and effects, with double the previous ball color options.

* Character Outfits: New options like body suits, muscle suits, and mascot outfits manageable via the GT Caddy App.

* Club Customization: Players can change colors for club heads, shafts, and grips.
