Blaster and Amethyst

Blaster and Amethyst is a simple top-down shooting game. Each stage contains seven amethyst crystals, and the player must collect them all to open the gate to the next stage. Making this more difficult are the swarms of buglike monsters populating each stage. They will attack and shoot at the player, and while no attacks will do direct damage, they will cause the player to fly wildly, easily careening off the edge of the stage. The player has a blaster with which to ward off enemies, but this also only pushes them around and off the stage. The player is awarded with a time bonus for remaining time at the end of each stage, and there are seven stages total.
