Clangers Activity Centre

They're made of wool and they enjoy the simple things of life like eating blue string pudding and watering plants. From the earliest days of their TV appearances, the bright pink, mouse-shaped Clangers have remained enduring favourites. Now Europress has harnessed that popularity to a new PC/Mac title that's full of fun for children from four upwards. This takes children on an enchanting visit to the blue Clangers planet where they live with friends such as The Soup Dragon, who resides in the soup well and provides the Clangers with green soup, and the Iron Chicken who floats in the sky in his spiky nest. There are six fun activities, each with many levels for hours of entertainment. In the Egg game, the Iron Chicken sits on his distant nest with a laser searchlight machine which emits a green beam of light. The object is to direct the beam through space onto the Soup Dragon's nest while avoiding many obstacles such as Clangers fishing for junk from their boats. When the beam hits the nest, the Soup Dragon's egg hatches and a baby dragon appears. The Hoots game is full of noise and fun. Children must help launch a boat which needs the sound of the Music Trees to work, but that is being drowned out by the noisy Hoots. The aim is to help Major Clanger stop the noise by plugging their variously shaped horns with matching fruit from the Fluffy Dumpling Fruit Trees. Purely for fun, the Music game allows children to compose tunes which the Soup Dragon will sing and Matching Clangers gives a new slant to an old favourite as children lift lids to match the clangers hiding beneath. Similar Space Invaders, Junk challenges children to help Clangers collect as much junk as possible as it flies past the planet. Finally, there is Clangers Print Video where children complete jigsaw puzzles.
