Cuadro

Cuadro is an action game centered around the gradual unveiling of hidden historical paintings. Each level begins with a concealed artwork, and the player's objective is to reveal it by navigating a ship across the canvas. As the ship moves, it uncovers the painting beneath. Players can also fire colored balls that bounce off walls and reveal additional areas.

A key mechanic involves balls of the same color colliding with each other. When this occurs, a larger portion of the painting is revealed, and the ship’s speed increases. While there are no traditional enemies, black balls pose a threat: they erase previously revealed sections and reduce the ship’s speed when struck by other balls. Occasionally, yellow balls appear, triggering temporary special effects upon impact for a few seconds.

Once the entire painting is revealed, the player receives a score based on their speed, the number of balls fired, and their accuracy. This score determines the type of key awarded - bronze, silver, or gold - which can be used to unlock new paintings, game modes, and bonus content within the museum. Achieving high scores also reveals the title and description of the painting, which becomes accessible in the museum. The museum serves as a hub for progression and exploration and is presented in a first-person perspective.
