Released in 1987, Star's Phoenix is a notable and rare solid-state pinball machine from the Italian manufacturer Zaccaria. It is historically significant as the company's first multiball game, and was produced just before Zaccaria's bankruptcy and subsequent reorganization into "Mr. Game". The table features a muddled mix of bowling (prominent on the backglass) and casino/gambling (seen on the playfield).
The first production version featured a purple cabinet, while the second version, renamed New Star's Phoenix, had a black cabinet, different artwork and a fourth flipper. Due to the factory’s imminent closure at the time of release, production numbers were very small, making it one of the hardest Zaccaria machines for collectors to find.
