Oxide

Overview

A beautiful futuristic flying game with a top view. Apparently, there is no specific plot, there is only an entertaining, but completely standard gameplay.

We fly forward, we cannot turn back, but we can "give back" a little. We destroy armadas of enemy planes and other flying things of various types (it is absolutely not necessary and hardly possible to destroy everything at all), dodge bullets and missiles they send at us, collect bonuses that fall out of killed enemies or just hang in the air; Sometimes we meet with bosses.

There is not much more to say. Except that the graphics here are really very good - this is a game from the very late DOS era, so here we will find beautifully drawn enemies and a variety of landscapes spreading below, shadows cast by planes and superbly animated explosions; In short, it is very pleasant to watch what is happening visually. Add to that fast-paced gameplay and you've got the ultimate evening of entertainment. But, for better or worse, the game cannot claim anything more.
