Overview
Based on the original SLALOM game
by COMMODORE ELEC. LTD & HAL LABORATORY, JAPAN
The Winter Olympics may have ended, but the pleasures of skiing continue on the COMMODORE 64 with SUPER SLALOM, a revamped edition of the legendary Commodore/Hal game originally created for the Japan-only MAX MACHINE. This time you're in for remade colourful graphics, a new OST full of diverse tracks, enhanced gameplay and six different slopes (compared to the repeated couple of slopes of the original) created from scratch.
And, to be true to this "SKI FOREVER" motto, SUPER SLALOM also includes a full fledged LEVEL EDITOR!
In a SEUCK fashion, use your joystick and/or keyboard to easily access all the core features of the editor. Draw your slopes with a joystick, put the hazards, tune the difficulty. Choose between ten scenarios and eleven different soundtracks to create the perfect mix-and-match for each of the six unique slopes. Save it to disk, both as re-editable data and as a standalone game. Or, just take the vanilla SUPER SLALOM data and customize it, make it easier, harder, weirder. Or... just play SUPER SLALOM as a standalone game and have fun dropping crazy high scores.
