Osarium

Overview

A rare Spanish first-person action, which was for its release year (1998) in terms of gameplay and graphics, is probably already an anachronism for some fastidious people, but from the point of view of an oldgamer it is very exciting, exciting and "eternal for all time".

What I liked about Osarium the most was that there is no large-scale plot that you would have to understand at least for decency. The action takes place in the distant future, in which everything is bad, the hero is a kind of super soldier fighting monsters.

Actually, apart from the rarity and the Spanish language, which looks unusual in such a game (however, there is not much text here - menus and some small messages in the course of the game), Osarium is not much different from other games of the genre of the mid-90s. Not too different levels, several types of monsters and weapons (by the way, quite interesting), graphics of the level "better than Doom, but worse than Duke". That is, in other words, it is quite ordinary, but does not lose its charm and attractiveness FPS. Due to its colossal rarity, it will surely be a great discovery for many shooter fans who yearn for the "good old" examples of the genre.
