Overview
Masters of the Universe: Collector’s Edition is a comprehensive virtual pinball table created by master modder TerryRed for Future Pinball - BAM. Released in December 2024, it is a massive 18-month passion project that completely overhauls a previous MOTU table from 2013 with modern features and high-end physics.
The table includes 16 new game modes, 4 different multiball modes (including Skeletor's 9-ball multiball), and various skillshots and combos. Features highly detailed, fully animated 3D models based on original 80s toys, including He-Man, Skeletor (on his Roton), Orko, and the Zoar falcon.
You can choose a faction, and the playfield artwork, autoplungers, and ball textures change to match your choice. Players collect action figures, vehicles, and playsets within the game to eventually unlock a grand Wizard Mode.
This version of MOTU utilizes FizX 3.3, providing a realistic ball-and-flipper feel comparable to modern physical machines. It includes custom shadowmaps, ray-cast ball shadows, high-resolution video, thousands of images, new music, and extensive voiceovers from Skeletor and other characters.
