Overview
UniHD is a PC fan remake of the game Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for the PS3 and Xbox 360 made by Japanese developer Uni. After finishing his game, Uni vanished, without sharing the final build. Shortly after, various people from the community started working on the game. However, Uni vanished without sharing the source code, so adding content that was only present in the latest build (including three stages and three characters from the original game, as well as single-player mode) would be very difficult. To date, the patchers have successfully added 2 new difficulties, stage-specific loot pools which weren't in Uni's version for unknown reasons, +1 Items (upgraded versions of items that you can get as rewards for beating stages in the new difficulties), single-player mode, and multiple bug fixes and balance patches.
