Metal Slug

Metal Slug is a community-created original table, primarily developed for Future Pinball (with a version also appearing in Visual Pinball X) that translates the frenetic, run-and-gun action of the SNK arcade classic into a pinball format. Known for its intense, fast-paced gameplay, the table is a polished example of custom virtual pinball design.

The table heavily features art, characters, and soundbites from the Metal Slug series, including recognizable elements like the tanks (Metal Slugs), soldiers, and hostages. True to the arcade game, the table often involves completing specific modes or "missions" to progress. The layout is designed for high-energy play, featuring cannons that act as toys, multiple ramp shots, drop targets, and a third flipper on the right.
