Overview
This unlicensed Rally X port was created by Ed Fries. Fries posted the initial build of the game in 2013, and continued to work on the game posting new builds until September 2014. There were rumors that Fries hoped to get a license from Namco to release this as an official port, but that never happened.
No new builds were posted after the September 2014 build, but Fries never stated this was the final build of the game. In 2025 a fan of the game, with permission from Fries, created a small number of cartridges with the September 2014 build and sold them through the AtariAge forums.
