Steel Wheel

Steel Wheel is one of the four original tables featured in the seminal 1992 pinball simulation game Pinball Dreams, developed by Digital Illusions. Themed around the Old West and steam-powered trains, it is considered the most accessible table for beginners among the four, featuring a welcoming design with accessible ramps.

The table features a brown and grey color scheme, with graphics focusing on steam trains, wild west imagery, and a banjo-heavy soundtrack. The layout of Steel Wheel is primarily based on the 1989 Williams "Bad Cats" real-world pinball table. The gameplay revolves around hitting the left and center ramps repeatedly to build up massive points and ticket values.

A 3D version for the Future Pinball platform was created by Misaligned Cow Venture, in addition to a Special Edition featuring more modern table artwork.
