Star Revenge 2: Act 2: Night of Doom

Star Revenge 2 - Act II: Night of Doom (formerly known as Star Revenge: Night of Doom) is a major ROM hack made by BroDute which was released in July 2013. This hack serves as a sequel to Star Revenge 2 - Act I: To the Moon, and is the extreme version of Star Revenge 1: Star Takeover (including compiled levels from Star Revenge Redone and the former Star Revenge 2: To The Moon).

Upon its initial release, it was considered to be one of the hardest Super Mario 64 ROM hacks. Its popularity grew far due to its immense difficulty, which often led it being compared to Super Mario 74: Extreme Edition, as its main influence. Also, it officially introduced new in-joke elements such as the Troll Star and the Ice Cream running gag, which were later re-used throughout the Star Revenge series.
