- A shiny rate increased to 250/65535, roughly 0.4% to highlight two color palettes for the fancy new sprites
- A wide variety of Pokémon available earlier than ever, with Cerulean Cave explorable as soon as you have access to Surf and Strength. Who knows what could have taken Mewtwo's place in there?
