Smash Remix: Project Galleon

Project Galleon is a massive expansion mod for Smash Remix, which itself is a high-profile overhaul of the original Super Smash Bros. (1999) for the Nintendo 64.

Released on April 21, 2026, Project Galleon acts as a "definitive" version of the mod, bringing in a huge wave of new content:

* New Characters: It adds a significant number of new fighters with fully original movesets, including characters brought over from other popular mods and brand-new entries.

* Expanded Roster: The project aims to push the N64's limits, building on Smash Remix's already impressive roster that includes Sonic, Dr. Mario, Young Link, and Banjo-Kazooie.

* Audio & Music: It includes a custom soundfont and new songs to enhance the retro experience.
