In 2016 Brock Keaghey started development on a demake of Xybots for the 2600. The Xybots demake was never finished, but, according to Keaghey, the 3D routines he created for Xybots evolved into their own game, a first person shooter Berzerk 3D, which was later renamed NeXioN 3D. Keaghey would later use the NeXioN 3D engine to create a 2600 demake of the Jaguar game Alien Vs Predator.
