Overview
South Korean arcade beach volleyball in the "2x2" format, which is played by boys and clearly older girls of anime appearance (each team always consists of a pair of children of different sexes). The background, alas, is only one, but the available space is larger than the area we see at a particular moment. The perspective of the review can be loosely described as a "slanted large isometric".
Supports one, two, three, or four players on the same computer; The roles of the rest in the first three cases are taken over by the computer. In the single-player mode, for some reason, we always act as a boy from the team on the left side of the field. The protagonist's movement is controlled using the keys of the "WASD" block, "1" and "2" are responsible for hits; There's also the option to jump, but it only seems to be available to girls.
A match consists of three matches, each of which ends after either team scores ten points. The level of difficulty, admittedly, is quite high: the ball flies at a decent speed and along a relatively tricky (and surprisingly realistic) trajectory, which requires you to calculate in advance the place where it will fall, and quickly hit it. The rules generally correspond to real beach volleyball: that is, for example, a ball that falls in our half of the field brings a point to the opponent, and the team that "scored" always serves before that.
In terms of graphics, everything looks, despite the light anime style, albeit minimalistic, but in general very cute; In the background, depicting a sandy beach, there are a small number of static figures of spectators. After the match, one of the teams rejoices in their victory to the accompaniment of "demonic" laughter, while the members of the other cry bitterly. Probably, this game should be recommended primarily to companies of two to four people who can fit at one keyboard - although it is quite possible to spend a few fun and tense minutes on it alone.
