The Godfather

The Godfather pinball machine is an ornate, cinematic tribute to the iconic film franchise in honour of its 50th anniversary. Designed by Eric Meunier, with artwork from Christopher Franchi and Jesper Abels, The Godfather was released by Jersey Jack Pinball in 2023.

Gameplay centers around climbing the ranks of the Mafia. Players select one of five starting families—each offering unique bonuses and strategic advantages—to conquer territory and initiate various multiball modes. The rules range from straightforward point collection for beginners to intricate shot multipliers and hidden skill shots for advanced players.

The machine incorporates original footage from the films on a large LCD screen, alongside classic lines and iconic music. The audio is particularly notable, featuring new performances of the classic theme by musicians Slash and Mark Tremonti. It also includes an optional "adult mode" that displays more explicit violence from the films, which can be toggled to a family-friendly setting.

Jersey Jack released two different versions of the table: a Limited Edition of 5,000 units, and a Collectors Edition of 1,000 units. The Collector's Edition has several premium upgrades, including gold-accented cabinet armor, lion-sculpted legs, a unique horse-head shooter knob, and a dynamic topper featuring gangsters firing submachine guns.
