Fruity Pete

There is an interesting fruit farmer in the Czech Republic. He seems to have no rhyme or reason as to how he harvests his fruit crop.

He usually has to harvest his crop in a certain amount of time (people have limited energy, you know). He also has certain tools to help him or hinder him while harvest time commences. It's your job to help Fruity Pete collect his quota of fruit in each of his orchards before his energy runs out for the day.

Playing the Game:

You start the game with 100 units of energy. You must collect 100 piecees of fuit to complete a level and advance to another higher level. There are 100 levels. The orchard is a maze of flowers.

Normally, you cannot run through the flowers, and you cannot usually change direction once you are mobile. Hoever, you have limited supply of herbicide. This can kill flowers and open new paths in the maze. You can only guide Pete in four directions: Left, Right, Up, Down.

NOTE: Be careful! Herbicide sprays are limited. Even though you can get extra sprays, one you are out of sprays you can get stuck in the game with no where to go.

There are doors you can find in the orchards that will automatically warp you to the next level regardless of how much fruit you have picked in the previous level. You get one spray every level and if you lose a life and start over.

You can come across treasure chests during the game that can award either an extra life or a new batch of spray. There are power-ups and items in the game that can either help or hinder you. They are as follows:

Shields: Allow Pete to run over anything, including flowers. They have the initials "FP" on them.

Teleports: These can be a life saver. When you get to a Teleport, you will be taken randomly to another location in the same level.

Doors: Automatically warp you to the next level.

Resets: Will reset the level you are on by changing the layout of it.

Chests: Contain lives or sprays.

Muddy Boots: Slow you down. Harvest an ammount of fruit to remove them.

Vodka: Confuses Pete so directions are opposite.
