4 Seasons

You play as Bowie, an elf boy who has inherited Ambergrain Field. Ambergrain Field is a lakeside farm with crops, fish and various plants growing around. You can play at your own leisure, completing tasks around the farm, and once you reach your "goal" points, you progress to the next season, with new crops and fish! It is a very peaceful life on the farm, but there has been rumors from townsfolk about something mysterious in the lake...

HOW TO PLAY

Joystick - Move Bowie around Ambergrain Field in any direction.

Fire - Interact with the environment. A text prompt will appear when you can interact with something!

The Left Difficulty Switch on the onsole will toggle in-game music.

AMBERGRAIN FIELD

There are three main activities on the farm:

FORAGING

Located near the player's house where they begin the game, a plant will appear in a random location that can be picked up for points. After being picked up, another won't appear for another 15-20 seconds.

HARVESTING

In the center of the farm is a large allotment. Here, you can plant seeds, and water them to have them grow. It takes a while for them to grow, so be patient! Once the crop is fully grown, it can be harvested for a big jump in points!

FISHING

Down at the very bottom of the map is Ambergrain Field's lake. Fish of various sizes can be caught here, and you don't have to wait long before the next one appears in a random spot. Each season has 3 unique fish - the bigger the fish, the more points you get!

COMPLETING THE GAME

4 Seasons is complete once the player finishes a full year (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter). You have the option to continue once you complete a year, and the game will send you back to spring. You can continue this all the way until you get 999,999 points! This would take a very long time to achieve, though, so we recommend to set the goal of completing one year.
