Crash Bandicoot is back for another adventure on the Super Nintendo!
Crash Bandicoot and the Retro dimension 2: The Crystal Hunt is a Crash Bandicoot themed Super Mario World Romhack and a sequel to Crash Bandicoot and the Retro Dimension. Just like it’s predecessor this hack aims to mix the elements of the classic Crash Bandicoot games into Super Mario World creating a unique experience that mix the best of both worlds.
Crash can use his iconic moves such as the spin, the slide and body slam and lots of new things have been added to make the hack feel more like a proper Crash Bandicoot game. Some of those things includes lots of custom music( with a lot of them being from the Crash Bandicoot series), NPCS characters and bosses from the Crash universe, custom graphics, lots of ASM modyfing some of the mechanics and more
This time around the hack features a more open design where the player can play through the game with more freedom for exploring the map in wathever order the player feels like. The hack features 93 levels with 120 crystals and 93 gems and relics to collect. It’s a bigger adventure than the last one.
Story: One month after the last adventure Dr.Cortex found out a new source of power in the retro dimension, power crystals! He intends to use the crystals on his new evil plan to power his Doomsday machine a device capable of distorting reality itself. Now it’s up to Crash Bandicoot and his friends to save the day! The player must collect power crystals at the end of each level to progress through the game and defeat the evil Dr. Neo Cortex.
