3-D Maze (Fontana Publishing)

The player’s task is to find a valuable artefact in a randomly generated maze. To do this, the player must follow the information provided in real time by the indicator. The first two values show the artefact’s vertical position, and the next two its horizontal position. A negative vertical value indicates that the player’s character is above the artefact, whilst a negative horizontal value indicates that they are to its left. Navigating the maze requires an analytical assessment of direction and movement, and travelling along paths that have already been taken several times will cause additional walls to appear, which will eventually block the character, forcing the player to restart the game by pressing the [Esc] key.
