Kongs Revenge

Kongs Revenge is a Donkey Kong variant. Like in the original arcade game, the player has to save a maiden from a vicious monkey. To reach the maiden at the top of the screen, the player has to climb ladders and jump between platforms. A ladder is automatically climbed when the player walks onto it, and it is not possible to go back down (although some levels have lifts to go down). To avoid climbing a ladder, the player has to jump past it and then the ladder is destroyed. The player has to watch out for barrels dropped by Kong, as well as fireballs. Barrels can be jumped past, while fireballs cannot be avoided. Ladders are destroyed when hit by a fireball, which might make a level unfinishable. The player has five lives and is given a score when all are lost. After a game is over, it's possible to restart from the current level without going back to the first.
