Melody (Bally)

Melody is noteworthy as Bally's first flipper machine, marking a significant milestone in the company's history. Released in February 1948, the dancing-themed single-player machine features two flippers, twelve scoring bumpers, and five kick-out holes, with one uniquely positioned below the outhole for bonus scoring. A rolldown version, "Melody Roll" was also released.

The playfield for Melody was reused on Bally's 1948 'Ballerina' but with a flipper-shaped stationary post in the center playfield in place of the triangular post.
