Scramble (Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced)

Overview

This version of Scramble was one of six games that appeared on the Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced plug n' play released in 2004, and was licensed by Konami. The plug n' play was a NES-on-a-chip famiclone, and all six games were NES games. Three of the games, Gyruss, Rush 'N Attack, and Yie Are Kung Fu, had previously been released on the NES in the 80s. The other three games, Frogger, Scramble, and Time Pilot had never been released on the NES, so new ports were created by JungleTac.

Scramble is a 1981 horizontally scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Konami for arcades. It was the first side-scrolling shooter with forced scrolling and multiple distinct levels, and it established the foundation for a new genre.
