Overview
Liu Bei Zhuan is the third and final game in Nanjing's San Guo Zhi trilogy. It was proceeded by San Gou Zhi: Cao Cao Zhuan and San Guo Zhi: Lu Bu Zhuan. Unlike the previous games, this game is titled Tun Shi Tian Di 6, or Destiny of the Emperor 6, making it an official sequel to the Capcom RPGs.
like the other games in the trilogy, Liu Bei Zhuan is an original RPG that uses mechanics based on Capcom's Destiny of the Emporer games. Also, like Destiny of the Emperor, the game's storyline is based on the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdom. In the game the player plays as Liu Bei.
The game is sometimes listed as San Guo Zhi: Liu Bei Zhuan, keeping with the naming conventions of the earlier games in the trilogy.
