Hide the Baby

Hide the Baby was originally a game by Nick Weihs, made with Unity for PC, Ouya, and web browsers in 2014. It's set in China under the one-child policy: you play as a single mother in Shanghai who has recently had a second child and must keep it hidden from a government inspector. Search your house for items like hats and lampshades to disguise the baby before the inspector arrives. It plays like a reverse version of Impossible Mission. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Sega CD ports were reprogrammed from scratch by developer gameblabla (not the original creator), released in early 2014. The Genesis version doesn't have music due to hardware/porting limitations, while the Sega CD version got separate EUR, USA, and JAP builds.
