Opcode Games arcade-accurate port of Nintendo's 1982 Donkey Kong Jr., released as part of the 2024 Super Game Club Season Two lineup. Includes the full four-level arcade rotation that the original Coleco home port omitted, with SGM-enhanced sound and graphics.

Donkey Kong Jr. is a fixed-screen platform game and a direct sequel to Donkey Kong. Following the events of the first game, Mario has captured Donkey Kong and confined him inside a cage. The player controls Donkey Kong’s son, Junior, who must climb through four hazardous stages and recover the keys needed to free his father. Mario serves as the antagonist, releasing creatures and other obstacles to prevent the rescue.

Junior can run and jump across platforms, climb or descend vines and chains, and move sideways between adjacent handholds. Grasping two vines or chains allows him to climb more quickly, while holding only one lets him descend faster. This distinction is central to avoiding enemies, since a route that is faster in one direction may be slower when Junior needs to retreat. He can also leap over ground-based enemies or jump between platforms, vines, chains, and moving footholds.
