Laser Dice

Overview

The player’s task is to use moving particles to eliminate all the dots on the triangular crystals. In a randomly generated crystal, each triangle contains between 0 and 6 dots. A particle can eliminate 3 dots at a time, so it must pass through some triangles twice. The particle’s movement depends on the position of the triangle; it may bounce off it, changing direction, or pass through it if it hits a straight edge. The player can rotate the triangles clockwise to alter the particle’s path. Rotating three different triangles causes the current particle to be eliminated, and a new one of a different colour enters the game. There are four particles in total, so the player can rotate a maximum of 12 different triangles. The game ends in victory when the entire crystal has been cleared of dots.
