The Green Knight

Inspired by the 14th-century poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Green Knight is a retro Game Boy Color adventure about honour, courage, and choice. Playable on original Game Boy Color hardware, modern emulators, and FPGA devices.

King Arthur's son has fallen ill, and Merlin reveals that only Sir Gawain can uncover the cure and face the greater trial ahead. Take up Excalibur, journey across Camelot, and ride east toward the Green Chapel, where the mysterious Green Knight awaits.

Explore forests, caves, castles, dark mazes, and forgotten places. Battle wolves, bats, bandits, spiders, and strange creatures of Camelot. Solve puzzles, complete quests, collect chivalry, and let your honour light the way through the darkness.

Your choices matter. Mercy, honesty, oath-keeping, and courage shape how characters respond to you and can lead to different endings.
