Overview
The story follows a new protagonist named Calvin (or Kelvin) Rafferty, an adventurer and occultist. After a supernatural ritual goes disastrously wrong, Rafferty suffers from memory loss, and his partner Fay falls into a deep coma while her soul becomes trapped in the Dreamlands.
Driven by impossible stakes, Rafferty must navigate the decaying, water-logged streets of Arkham to find the source of the apocalyptic flood and a way to save the woman he loves.
Along the way, he faces terrifying eldritch horrors, including the reanimated dead and Deep Ones surging from the dark waters, while piece-by-piece uncovering the truth behind his forgotten expedition.
