Roof Hockey

THE STORE IS CLOSED. THE NET IS UP. THE CLOCK IS RUNNING.

Twelve minutes of hockey on a tar-and-gravel roof in New Jersey -- and the only

thing between you and the net is a co-worker who has never once done his job

and isn't about to start now.

Skate the puck out of the corner. Line up the mouth of the net. Shoot before

Randal gets goal-side and leans on you, because up here there is no goalie, no

referee, and no second chance off the boards.

Play it out. Somebody has to win the roof.

BUT NOBODY GETS TO FINISH.
